Lara was born in Hannibal, MO (like Shoeless Joe!), but grew up in Pittsburgh, PA before moving to New York City, receiving her BFA from Pace University. She has performed on and off-Broadway and across the country on national tours and numerous regional productions. When not performing, Lara is a freelance casting director, writer,  theatrical animal handler, stylist, and baked goods enthusiast. Onstage and off, she can always be counted on to commit to the bit.
